Dr Patricia Yuen

Dr Patricia Yuen, trained in the United States, is one of Singapore's leading dermatologists, with her own private practice located at Pacific Healthcare Specialist Centre, Paragon. A well-known regional speaker in aesthetic dermatology, Dr Yuen graduated from Brown University with a bachelor degree in Human Biology in 1989, received her postgraduate doctorate from Boston University School of Medicine in 1993, completed her residency in Internal Medicine in San Francisco in 1996, and obtained her fellowship in Dermatology from the National University Hospital Singapore in 2001. She is a fully accredited specialist with the Ministry of Health Singapore, and is conferred a fellow of the Academy of Medicine (Dermatology) Singapore. She is also a member of the Dermatological Society Singapore, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, diplomate of the National Board of Examiners (USA), and the Medical Board of California (USA).

Her clinical interest is in cosmetic dermatology, especially in non-invasive facial rejuvenation using techniques such as Radiofrequency ( eLaser & eLight, Thermage), Lasers ( Matrix IR/RF, Medlight, CO2 laser, Erbium-Yag laser), Intense Pulsed Light (Aesthera PPx), Fillers and MicroLaserPeels. Dr Yuen has developed her own medical grade skincare line, SKINSENSE, which is used in the treatment of pigmentation, acne and for skin rejuvenation, as well as to complement her laser procedures.

In addition to her aesthetic skin practice, Dr Yuen is experienced in dermatosurgery for moles and skin cancers, and treats both adult and paediatric general dermatology. She has given over 60 media interviews and public presentations on cosmetic dermatology, including in San Francisco, Shanghai, Beijing, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Cebu.

As one of Singapore's leading dermatologists, Dr Yuen appears regularly in newspaper and magazines articles and television programs including interviews on Channel News Asia and Channel 5. She has lectured and trained other healthcare professionals about eLight, eLaser and Fillers.
